SkillWorks AI began with a straightforward question: what actually works when using AI?

I’m Lynn Ellis, an educator and strategist with more than 20 years of experience helping people think clearly, communicate effectively, and get real work done across education, operations, and marketing. As I began exploring AI tools early on, I noticed a growing disconnect between what is possible with these tools and how they are most often used,  particularly in situations where accuracy, clarity, and sound judgment matter.

Many people are already using AI. What’s often missing is a deliberate approach that includes asking better questions, recognizing weak or misleading outputs, and turning rough responses into reliable, usable drafts.

SkillWorks AI was built to focus on that gap. Everything I teach is grounded in critical thinking, practical frameworks, and approachable techniques that help people use AI thoughtfully and responsibly as a support for careful, confident work.
